    Type 1 Skin rash/spots

It's 3 months down the line that it's started but when I have looked up, some of them say that people take allergic reactions to them years after first starting to use them. I am going to phone my diabetes team in the morning and see what they think Thank you for your comments

    Type 1 Skin rash/spots

I'm type 1 diabetic. Started to get quite a lot of spots on my hands and arms last week. It's got worse and pretty my whole upper body is covered in them now. I have been to my GP who reckons it's just eczema but the cream she gave me has been no help whatsoever. I am going back tomorrow to...

    Morning hangover feeling

Thank you. I will set an alarm every few hours through the night tonight and see what my BG is at. I have had hypo during the night before and wake up with it. Just find it strange that my levels are always fine when I wake up in the morning and check them. I wouldn't mind feeling hungover if...

    Morning hangover feeling

Just curios if anyone else gets like this: I have been type 1 for a few months. I have managed to get my sugars to stay predominately between 5-8 With the occasional misjudged hypo or slight high. Generally I feel okay, always quite tired but don't know if that's the diabetes or just me in...

    Confused

Ah okay that makes sense. As long as it makes up its mind what it is doing one way or the other. It's just making things very difficult at the moment. Lol. Diabetes is such a wonderful thing.... [emoji58]

    Confused

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a few months ago. All was going as well as could be expected up until 2 weeks ago. I have been carb counting and found that 1:10 has been suitable for me. However over the last couple of weeks I have been having around 3 hypos a day, almost after every...

    Type 1 Low carb beer

    Type 1 Low carb beer

Anyone got any recommendations for low carb beer? Has anyone noticed if it makes a lot of difference having this instead of regular beer. I amnt bothered about the alcohol content so much, I just enjoy having a beer but don't want to spike my BG quite so much. I'm going to go and have a look...

    Type 1 Alcohol

Thank you for the advice! I'm not necessarily going to have 10 pints I just want worse case scenario as it's easy to lose track of how much I have had. I'm going to have a few in the house tomorrow night and check BG Every half hour and see what effect it has on me. Cheers folks
