Anyone got any recommendations for low carb beer?
Has anyone noticed if it makes a lot of difference having this instead of regular beer.
I amnt bothered about the alcohol content so much, I just enjoy having a beer but don't want to spike my BG quite so much.
I'm going to go and have a look for some this week just want to see if anyone knows which brand is the best or has the lowest carbs.
Thanks a lot

From other posts there seems to be one called Marston's Resolution that might fit your bill. Don't drink so never tried it...
Put low carb beer in the search box.

Im enjoying a coors light just now. A 330ml can is 5g carbs. It's normal lager strength and tastes quite ok. Available in tescos. Normally I drink skol but a 440ml can is 12g carbs.

Don't know .. but every time that I have tried alternatives such as Low or No alcohol beers in the past, I have been disappointed. My guess is that low-carb beer would be the same for me .. but good luck and cheers to anybody who finds one they like

Thank you. I will give it a try.
If you don't mind me asking, how does beer affect your BG Levels?

I'm not really a beer drinker but I stick to one or two when I do have beer. I don't bolus but I do test frequently to see how my blood sugar is doing so that I can nip any rise in the bud.

If you're spreading your beers out, try one without a bolus and see how you go.

Found Burleigh Bighead online completely carb free and 4.2% abv. Quite expensive though. If anyone has tried it I would be very interested to find out if it is sanza.co.uk/Burleigh_Bighead.asp
