I think maybe my hbA1c might have been affected as I'd been on a very low carb diet for 2 months prior to having the test, I lost 8 pound in weight. I am going to go back to strict low carbs now

If I eat carbs with dinner I get 8.9 after 2 hours If I don't have any carbs I get 7.5 2 hours after eating. I just didn't think that if for a normal person blood glucose is around 4.0 why would I feel so terrible at 4.0 ?

Thank you stemar I'm going back to doctors this week as feel there's defiantly something up, it's not normal to feel this way. Since having the aC1 test my doctor has disregarded my high sugar levels :( But something must be causing them. But for now I'm just trying to relax about the whole...

Yes the doctor did everything

I am very tired most of the time, even more so after eating, I go to the toilet a lot, I get shaky if I haven't eaten for a while Blurry vision

I still have a list of symptoms and I have my own meter and have been testing before dinner can be between 4.5 and 5.5 then 2 hours later it will be around 7.5 and 8. I find if my blood sugar is 4.4 that when I start feeling shaky and a bit rough

The 6.4 and 6.3 were the results of my fasting glucose blood tests and the hbA1c was 40! Are they the same thing? I still feel the same as I did before, although I felt a bit better after I lost the first bit of weight. I have got vitamin d tablets now I have to take 1 everything 3 days

Thank you, I have been really stressed and one of the reasons is that I've been stressing over the results that are taking so long , I have been cutting down on carbs and it's quite amazing as I've lost 5lb this week :) I've had moments where I've had naughty things to eat but I have really cut down

I'm still waiting for them, tried today with no luck, will try again Monday :(
