    Finally, progress with HbA1C

I've been type 2 for 3 years. My HbA1C results have always been 7.5-8%. I was initially put on metformin but had severe reactions (bad headaches and spaced out). I tried low carb diet alone without success so continued with low carb but with addition of medication called Sitagliptin. In August...

    Chest palpitations with short blackout

Thanks. I am wondering now if this issue is more to do with my Meds. I will discuss with consultant. Your episode seems very similar to mine with no detection by ECG. It will be interesting to see how I get on with the monitor. Sent from my SM-G955F using Diabetes.co.uk Forum mobile app

Not sure if anyone can help as doubt the issue I have is Diabetes linked but I really am feeling low at present. This site has helped before. I was diagnosed type 2 in February this year and, following diet, went to prediabetes in June. Great news. 3 weeks ago whilst driving I had massive...

    Glucose Levels Low

So the new monitor arrived and I have compared it twice toiday to the android 2in1 monitor. There is a difference. 2 hrs after food atb10am and then 2pm 2in1 recorded 3.9 then 3.5 SD Biosensor recorded 6.3 and then 5.9. So I'm more confused. Which monitor is correct?

Thanks. I have just booked a Dr's appt for Friday. I will stop the Metformin and continue with low carb diet and see what happens. Even though the slow release version is better I still feel rough intermittently. Funny how I was feeling fine before the Dr diagnosed T2 although I appreciate...
