I have now been injecting 0.6 mg of Liraglutide (victoza) for four days. My blood sugar level in the mid afternoon has just hit 4.8-this is the first time I have ever been so low. Is this a healthy reading?

Now on third day with Victoza. I am only on the smallest dose (0.6) and using it with metformin. BG is around 5.6-7.3 most of the day and my most recent HBA1c was 6.7. This was quite a rise hence my Doctors desicion to put me on Victoza. No side effects at all. I am eating more...

When I first went onto metformin I suffered from an upset stomach. It continued for a while so the Doctor put me on slow release metformin which did the job! Picked up my first injector pen today which was strange. I cannot use it yet though as the Doc forgot to prescribe the needles! :lol...
