    yes i can, my nurses usually advise me on any changes but if i notice a pattern in the data then i can change it myself. im using the Accu-Chek Insight pump

    i do, last time i was at the nurses they changed my pumps hourly rates from 0.87 to 1.13 iv had 3 hypos since then in the middle of the night or early morning. iv since gone back to 0.87

    Hey there. recently iv noticed a few instances where i have been having a hypo (usually in the night) but ill fall back asleep and wake up fine? without taking anything for it. is this normal? Im a type 1 diabetic for 9 to 10 years now

    the meter will say communication error if you turn on the display on the pump at the same time. the pump will display bolus stopped if there was a problem. you should be fine. id check your sugars again in an hour or so just too be safe

    from my own experience lantus only lasts for around 16 to 18 hours

    usually a drop like that means your Hypo'ing a lot which is why they try to lower your levels gradually. Least thats what iv been told

    as far as im aware you shouldnt need to even buy a new one, when mine broke i simply emailed the accu-chek people and they sent me a new one

    when he starts acting this way you need to make him test his sugars, everything you have said so far indicates a Hypo. iv had instances where iv woken up with a hypo but not understood whats happening then after awhile iv just fallen asleep again. woke up a few hours later and sugars are normal
