When I was first diagnosed nov 2011 I was admitted to Hospital with high BG and keytones I was only in overnight but I think in depends on the person I hope your husband is ok .

Yes I have 1 and they are good when you put your Carbs in it tells you how much insulin to take Per amount of carbs .

Thanks for your posts I'm just relieved to hear that it's not my imagination my BG are always high or low very rare I get a normal . This foot and the cramps have been going on like this for over 3 years now I've just learnt to live with it . But thank you again .

I'm always high HI has been my highest and 1.6 my lowest where I fainted but came to eventually I can't seem to get control it depresses the life out of me somedays I don't know how you's do it.
