    Metformin- how long do I stay with it?

    Having awful probs with wind and diarhorea for a few months now- was ok on Metformin 500 - 1 am and pm last year - no problems at all (1st year after I couldn't control with diet) but dose was upped 6 months ago to 2 am and 2 pm with disastrous results - at least I hope its the cause...
