hiya.. i am no expert but i was diagnosed last year with type 1 and when i had hypos at first they took me ages to recover from and lots of sugar.. but now it only lasts minutes .. i think once your body gets used to being at a more "normal" level the easier it becomes... it is hard to start...

well i was diagnosed with type 1 in 2007.. but i know i had it for at least 4 years before i was diagnosed.. and with3 months in hospital and every test known to man i was also diagnosed with autonomic neuropathy... i have found that the awarness of tgis is very poor.. from doctors to fellow...

hi, thankypu... but i think if there were a degree in research in neuropathy i would have a master.. i just wish that more people were aware of it... how do i get more people aware!!!! lee

Why oh why is there not enough about on NEUROPATHY.... and how awful this is.... doctors are not very clued up and most of the research or information i have had is from the internet... i am suprised that diabetics are not more aware of the situation they put themselves in if they don not look...

Hey guys n girls, have been looking at some podcasts and they all seem to be based aroud amercian folks and diabetes, i dont seem to be able to find anything that is uk based, main reason is that i dont always understand the terms.. or shall i call myself MC Diabetic Lee! and start my own...

i am lucky as my pharmacy pick up from the gp and deliver my drugs to my door.. i have a monthly delivery drugs in a tray and stuff and if i need anything else i call them and they sort it out... dont forget they also make alot of money out of this so get them to do as much work as possible...
