Hi diaket, yes I’m due for an appointment at my DSN in 2 weeks so I’ll get talking to them properly then. I’m just about doing enough to keep me a float at the minute but even talking to people that understand it makes you feel better :)

Type 1 First hypo related seizure

I’m on nova rapid and lantus at night time, hopefully I will be made to do a course rather than a swift “punishment” and losing my license as it is a one off and I’ve very well controlled. Going to lay off the alcohol either way.

    Type 1 Possible maculapathy

Hi all, just an update. I had proper eye tests done Saturday at specsavers and all clear! No maculapathy! My eyes are in great health. What a relief that was, and I’ve only a very very slight dot in each eye “aneurism” so nothing leaking nothing needing surgery ect what a relief.

    Type 1 Possible maculapathy

Hi Jim, thanks for reply. The dot is only there when I blink if that makes sense? My vision seems clear other wise? Had my eyes checked by my optician and both eyes nearly 20/20 no need for glasses either, type 1 22 years

    Type 1 Possible maculapathy

Hi jaylee, thanks for the reply. Do you have to sign a waiver before treatment Incase treatment doesn’t work? And how is your eye/eyes now after treatment? Hi thanks for reply, yes I'm totally aware it's not compulsory to have life insurance for buying a home, it's more to the fact I earn quite a bit more than my wife so I'm the main income, we also have 3 young children so it's more so to protect my family if I happen to die young or get a...

    LIFE INSURANCE

Hi thanks for the reply, I've found an insurance broker here in Northern Ireland and they are keen to get me insurance. I was holding back a bit until I got speaking to my mortgage advisor again today and he's adamant that I won't get insurance because "if you had cancer you wouldn't get life...
