Ok well as title says, this is highest it has ever been for me, as i forgot to give some novorapid when i had lunch, i have just drank 2 litres of water and given some novorapid but its still going up! Will I be ok? :oops:
Ah right, yeah fair enough for type 2's I can imagine it causing a problem with blood sugar levels.
I feel like a bit of an idiot now if it is bad for me as I've been on the vodka redbulls for last few weeks
My GP wants me to have a fasting blood test, cant eat for 12 hours before. God knows what its for as I have my blood tests done at the hospital by the Diabetic clinic.
A type1 doing a fasting blood test doesn't sound very safe to me and the doctor was very rude when I asked about it
Is it safe for type 1's to drink energy drinks? I've been having around 1 red bull a week when Im feeling tired at the end of the week and haven't had any probs keeping my blood sugar in check.
Was reading on the back of a different energy drink (KX from Tesco) it says not suitable for...
Ooops read your post too late and got some "York All in one" which is protein and creatine from Argos... was reduced to £11 which was mainly why I got it! Doesn't taste great but will see if I get any results.
As for diet im vegetarian but eat fish and eggs etc, not eating great atm as am at...
Is it safe for T1 diabetic to take a protein shake such as this as I want to increase my muscle tone
