Given myself type 2 at 26 years old

How much carb are you eating every day, please. In my experience, it is all about finding what is the sweet spot for you. I never managed low levels but nevertheless have done very well so far. Another dimension to consider is how your nutrition regimen interact with your medication, if you take...

on tablets high recent hba1c don't want to go on insulin

You are being given excellent advice. It is possible to make significant improvements: I went from 104 to 45 in 5 months. I nearly was prescribed insulin but the physician eventually prescribed Gliclazide instead, which I decided against taking and managed to reduce my glucose level with low...

    Libre 2 failing

For what it's worth: over a period of 30 weeks I have used 15 sensors, 2 failed when I started them and were replaced by Abbot with no difficulty. Both failures took place in the last two most recent changes.

What does reversal of prediabetes really mean?

It would depends on how you would define reversal, a term which is notoriously difficult to define meaningfully. My understanding as a lay person is that it would perhaps be safe to speak of reducing the risk of progression to type 2 diabetes, which is often possible with healthy behaviour...

Apparently I am wasting my time (according to DN)

Exactly. I too have found using Libre really crucial in the progress I have made in the last seven months since I was diagnosed. I have to pay for it but it is really worth it in my opinion.

Ozempic has no effect on me. is it normal?

Initially Ozempic had little effect on me for the two weeks I took it, then it made me quite ill and I had to stop it on my physician's advice. Going down from 3,000 calories a day to around 2,000 without medication is relatively simple. I would encourage you to try, if you feel like it.

    Reversing Type 2 Diabetes ebook

My understanding is that according to the Guidelines in Canada, one of the criteria for a diagnosis of diabetes is an A1C ≥6.5%. For screening, prediabetes is within the 6.0–6.4 range, whilst the 5.5-5.9 range is considered as at risk. A normal A1C is <5.5.

    Reversing Type 2 Diabetes ebook

That's a fair question about type 1. As to the definition of reversal, they do offer one p. 5: "T2D reversal means a lower long-term blood glucose (HbA1c) without an increase in diabetes medication." I do not find it very helpful. They also give one of remission: "T2D remission means achieving...
