I was diagnosed last year and I’ve been using the LibreLink without any issues. However, all of a sudden it isn’t reading my BS properly. It seems always to be higher than my actual level. Should I change my current patch? Any advice or guidance welcome

I got TID after diabetic ketoacidosis with a blood sugar of 70. I was in a psychosis and coma. I’m still very depressed and feel very vulnerable. I thought it was only kids that got this. It all happened so fast. At times I’ve even felt suicidal. I was so fit and yet it still got me. I still...
Given how high you are I would shocked if you weren’t type 1. I’m newly diagnosed and had ketones I was 70 and above for days and lost 16 kilos in weight in a matter of days.A GAD test isn’t definitive, but DKA is almost certainly type 1 as it indicates no insulin.

Hi
I was diagnosed with type 1 around 2 months ago after a very severe DKA (BS 70). On a couple of occasions my BS has been below 4 and then when I test 15 mins later my BS has risen without me doing anything. Is anyone able to tell me how this could happen?
Thanks for your help
Dave
It’s very unusual for type 2 to have DKA as they still produce insulinI have read so many type 2 get misdiagnosed, and are actually type 1. I’m not saying this has happened in your case
Hi
I’ve just been recently diagnosed after severe DKA with a blood sugar of 70. I’m on Lantus and Novorapid, which suits me. I’m still struggling to get within target and can go from from 16 to 3 in 1 hour. I know what you mean about feeling isolated. Thank heavens for the internet
