I have been a diagnosed diabetic since 1982. Lately I have had a few complications including nerve damage.

I had been having good numbers on the low carb for one month then it all changed and went very high I am waiting for a referral to diabetic clinic and have been put on Gliclazide 60mg MR. plus the metformin I was on already. Moved by mod, at Deborah’s request, to her own thread.

I have begun eating a lower carb diet not extremely easing into it but I am having some lows almost everyday I have cut back on medication but the weird thing is I will be higher than I want to be and then later 3.2. I then play catch up to bring it up some and end up at the same number again...
