Lots of good ideas for low carb snacks, I'll suggest a couple more in case you like the idea of either of them.
Tinned fish, eg mackerel. Satisfying and good for the brain too.
Corned beef. Like fish, a tin keeps for ages.

I'm struggling with most of life but the specific problem above is that I hate eating in the mornings, in fact my body isn't comfortable with food until about 4pm. But eating a snack when I get up stops my liver producing more glucose. I don't want double figure BGs all day...

Pork belly for main meal but we have no fresh veg except half a cucumber as we're running the fridge down in preparation for the trip to Scotland. Hope there's something suitable in the freezer otherwise I'll be inadvertently carnivore for a while :rolleyes:
