I know I'm a little too late to reply here but I'm sure there are millions battling against diabetes everyday and I hope my experience can help someone out there. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for over 5 years and was advised to take Metfornin by my Doctor. I actually kept complaining...
I know and accept that a lot of people are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but I am actually worried even though I am diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
I don't have any kids right now and am afraid that diabetes will prevail among my future kids if i don't take steps to cure it right away.
Please help.
For all you know it might be the drug itself. There might be some ingredient that you might be allergic to. You should try switching the dosage or try another brand of this drug so that you can be sure you are well suited to the dose of medicine you consume.
I don't think artificial sugar of any sort should be consumed by us diabetic people since any kind of sugar consumption will adversely affect our glucose levels and will mean higher dosage of medicines in the future.
