Ah!! I get it now haha.. sorry I can be a bit dim sometimes haha... I got my results... need to half it as the fructosemine is 517 which is about 13% Hba1c wise... oops... but am working with my nurse to sort it out!!! :( it has depressed me though.. knew it would be bad but having it confirmed...

I suffer from insomnia a lot!! It comes and goes but if I'm stressed out I really have trouble sleeping.

Yup I am exactly the same.... I have been known to snap at him on my bad days... when he comes out with "smile, be happy" and I just flip like OMG do you think I ENJOY being miserable? Haha. You think I enjoy being terrified to leave my house? Lol. I wish everyone could have what we have for...

I would have told them exactly where to shove it! We have to inject multiple times a day... if I have to go and hide every time I do it is a waste of time... it takes 2 seconds to inject... I have a friend who is scared of needles so when I am about to inject I warn her so she can look away...

That's strange. I was told a Hba1c takes 2-3 days to get results but a fructosemine test takes 3 weeks... that's why I'm still waiting for my results.

Yeah, if only it was that easy!! He is ex army so thinks you can just man up... I suffer severe depression and he has been knownothing to come out with stuff like "can't you just cheer up" haha bless him... He just doesn't get it.

This makes me sad... I thought it was bad me having 2 years of no test but it looks like a lot of people are having the wrong test alltogether!! Grumble Grumble...

I have to have fructosemine test as I have a variant of hemoglobin.. I only found this out a couple of weeks ago after 2 years of being told to re do Hba1c as they couldn't get a result. I wouldn't know if my readings are higher than the Hba1c as I never actually got those results... I wonder...

Even if it does work you are still on medication for life aren't you? If I'm getting cured, I want a full cure haha. ;)

No, but I sometimes wonder if a relationship would be easier with another diabetic? My partner tries to be supportive and understanding but I know sometimes he wishes I would just "man up" and get over it.

That is disgusting! However with takeaway and restaurants you never know what could happen to your food... I had to stop watching all those shows that go undercover in restaurants to see the poor hygiene and stuff...

It doesn't really bother me to be honest. I think it would if people seemed offended that I didn't take the snack, that has never happened to me though... I think they are just happy because it's more for them haha.
