Thanks Anna. Having a small piece of bread before bed (rather than nothing after my evening meal) tends to make them more stable but 6 is as low as I seem to be able to achieve. Given my HBa1C is almost where it needs to be I am not too concerned but I would like to lower it as I don't see how I can really lower my readings seen at the end of the day.

Hi there, do you fancy searching info on high morning fasting reading?. Put Dawn Phenomenon in the search box at top of this site's home page and have a read . it took ages for my morning readings to come down a bit and I can't get them under 5.0 ever, it's your average readings that count and yours sound great.
