Hi, I have been on ozempic for a few months now. Side effects for me have been horrendous smelling burps and nausea which subsided after a few weeks. But the positives have been better control and a 3 stone weight loss.

I have started making a frittata once a week it does 2 days worth of breakfast for me and my wife. Easy to make and cheap.

Thank you all for your replies. My Levemir will be 40 units and my novarapid will be split 10 breakfast 14 lunch and 16 dinner to start with. I am also going to take dapagliflozin. I hope to be able to lower my carb intake to help me lose weight.

Hi all. Have been put on this regime using Levemir and Novarapid. Anybody else on this and can offer any advice or comments. Thanks Andy

Hi Alan Like you I am a bydureon novice. The only side effects I have had are nausea and a bit of constipation. I have found it has cut my eating down quite dramatically. How are you finding it ?

Thanks for your replies. I'm not sure what the injection will be as I'm waiting for the referral. I was on linagliptin for a time but like you it became ineffective and they put me on gliklazide. What are your bloods now compared to to pre injection ?
