Fibre glass like feeling on left leg

Hi, I am not sure if it’s diabetes related so I just wondered if anyone had anything similar. Every now and then I used to get a feeling on my leg, but it would go away. Then last week I’ve got that same feeling it’s on the top of my foot, round my ankle which feels sprained all most, and on...

    I just need a rant

Today I spoke to a Dr about repeat iron test and should I have any other bloods as other week I had mild DKA with normal blood sugars. He proceeded to tell me you “you can’t go into DKA with normal blood sugars” I was absolutely stunned, and although my tone was slightly stern, I proceeded...

For the type 1s only please (mounjaro)

Thank you for your reply, Lows are my only main concern, I’ve decided to drop down to 5 units of tresiba to let that kick in as I start mounjaro on Sunday. I do walk at around 2 hours a day so don’t want to any hypo’s on the walks. Not going to lie diarrhoea would be a blessing for me [emoji23]

Hi thank you for the response, did you reduce your insulin right away yourself? I’m just debating if to reduce my tresiba to 5 units in a morning instead of 5.5. Then just take it careful with my nova rapid. Thanks

For the type 1s only please (mounjaro)

I have addressed every issue regarding weight, they are telling me it’s not insulin, for someone who eats very little, 3 meals a day mainly yogurt, 2 slices of toast, and on a good day maybe a roast dinner. The dietitian’s have nothing to say to me, again saying it’s not insulin that causes...

Hi guys, My endo has just prescribed me mounjaro and I was wondering if any type 1s on here take this and how you have got on, low bloods? Weight loss? Side effects, I know everyone will be different, I’m just wanting to know if we can manage while on insulin. Thank you ❤️

solution night lows & day highs basal

I’m the same, if I take 6 units I hypo through the day, I take 5.5 and I’m steady away day and night. It’s worth trying and don’t forget, tresiba takes roughly around 4-5 days after changing the dose to see how it’s working, I usually give myself 10 days to see if it’s working for me or not...
