Coming home today over th moon

He's here born yest at 10.20am weighing 8lb 2oz his sugars went abit low to begin with but was fine after couple of hours with me on the ward and we can go home tomorrow

Thank you it's my third section , do know what's coming been in sliding scale last two days and going into dextrose at midnight x

Just quick update from me following g scan Monday and frequent hypos and increased fluid they have decided to carry my section out tomorrow , i ll be 36+1 been in since Tuesday having steroids and sliding scale was going to come off this morning but sugars went but erratic x

I'd call triage and ur DNS

Theve kept me in as my diabetic cons wants to moniter me , the midwife on desk is wondering why he's kept me in so he tried to explain to them about placenta etc xx

I'm in dau being assessed baby is moving fine , just waiting to see diabetic consultant before I go home x

Any advice ? I'm 35+3 type 1 and in last 24 hours I've hypoed four times , this morning I treated accordingly 1 hour later I was hypoing again , I emailed and called my DNS and not there today , so then I called dau as he's moving very erratic then gone quiet , dau were very unhelpful she asked...

I've started to inject 30 mins before I eat my breakfast and it's made a difference baby will be fine Let us know what ur DNS says x

Wrre better contacting our DNS if honest and midwifes here arent specialised in diabetes and neither is labour Ward @November1115

I'm 34 weeks and mine have done same last two weeks my DNS upped my bolus made huge difference and I correction dose too what insulin are you on ?
