That’s how mine work. Sound goes through my hearing aids Straight into my ears - phone calls, music etc. Theyre amazing . They’re danalogic and NHS. They were set up for me by the NHS audiologist and prior to my being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (very late in life for me as I’m 76)...

Yes - it’s completely new diagnosis - no type 2 prior. I’m still feeling in shock tbh as my symptoms were so minimal - just the dry mouth and thirst for about 2 weeks beforehand. We were abroad the week before my diagnosis - walking loads every day but I wasn’t feeling fatigued .

I was hospitalised late July for three days as ended up in A and E following a routine blood test which showed very high blood sugar levels. I was shocked as only symptom I had was dry mouth and very thirsty - but only for 2 weeks prior. I have no family history that I know of and I’m 76...
