Hi. I ate what turned out to be high sugar bread in the morning so by lunchtime my levels had risen to 14 mmol. I then injected 8u of humalog pre mixed insulin 75/25. It should be back down near normal this evening.

Hi all. I inject humalog 75/25 insulin daily. Now I find that after evening tea, my sugar levels keep rising so I inject 6 units to keep it down overnight. I need to eat a fair bit in the evening otherwise I would starve and I don't want to inject more insulin at teatime as it may drop too fast...

also I'm 67 years old now. And was 57 when I had circumcision. So maybe it's because I'm older .
