I've just carried out an additional check this evening (8.25 PM). I've not eaten anything since about 3PM. The reading was 7.2. I'm delighted as it's my best yet since I started testing about over 3 weeks ago.

I thought it might be high as the savoury biscuits I ate yesterday evening contained a greater-than-expected sugar level. I should have checked first. Also, I can feel it within myself as I wake up feeling a little groggy (can't explain it better than that).
10.2 this morning. My number seems to be highly sensitive to even the tiniest abberation. However, I can lose one third of my bodyweight so plenty of room for manoeuvre - and I'm still very new at this.
