    Cooked meat is always good, yes. Not mad on eggs and can't stand cheese - always been a picky eater and I know that doesn't help at all. I like spelt bread though and also bran bread - so sandwiches on that and cold meat work. TY resurgam.

    Yep, it has to be iron control I think and I'm not sure I'm up to it! I didn't think though about the veg in stew tipping me over the carbs.. How would you measure that to get a true picture? And this does help, ty :)

    I can't eat alot of fat either pipp - grumbling gallstones :) When I get overtired I tend to have a plate of cereal or instant porridge. Or crisps or a sandwich.     I've tried, I really have. Months and months this time - on my fitnesspal, logging everything I eat every day. I dont eat much at all, very low appetite, consistently around 600/700 calories and under 60 carbs at most. I haven't lost an ounce. What do I do next? So bloody fed up with this...

    NHS site says these meds will - or at least a couple of them - will cause a rise in BG and patients should be tested regularly just in case. :confused:
