    Blood pressure tablets are they good or not

    I am on Lisinopril. 10 mg ever since my heart attack . I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic a couple of years later. Could be some truth in iisinopril raising blood sugar levels. I have no obvious problems from taking this medication . John W.

    I use Mornflake organic ,It's both sourced and milled in Cheshire another plus is that the price isn't hiked up :D It is coarser than the so called instant stuff but I micro wave it without problem. John W.

    Should we be taking Aspirin then?

    My Doctor put me on enteric coated aspirin which of course gets round the problem of stomach irritation!. Aspirin does reduce the lining of the stomach ,so some doctors prescribe a proton pump inhibitor which reduces acid secretion and therefore the chances of ulceration ! John Wilkinson
