    Hi, I'm Gabrielle

I'm a 20-year-old Graphic Design student in my third year at University in Nottingham. I am originally from Middlesbrough, though.

I was diagnosed with type 1 when I was 12. I used an accu chek aviva combo pump a couple of months after diagnosis, for approx 5 years. I then decided to stop using it and go back onto MDI, for cosmetic reasons. I recently went onto an omnipod 2 weeks ago, and really love it but it's taking some adjusting.

Being a student on my own 2 hours away from home, I have quite bad anxiety regarding my diabetes. I'd love to meet new people similar to myself with diabetes, as I feel quite lonely at the moment.

    Signature

    Type 1 Since July 2007
Accu-chek Aviva Combo Pump user for 5 years
    Omnipod user since 8/3/16
MDI the rest of the time
