Hi Hun I'm not in Taunton I'm in Stoke on Trent, but my son is in primary school he is 8, just going into year 4 this year, he was diagnosed when he was 6, I know we can't meet up but thought we could still chat on here for advise etc if you wanted x

My son gets very aggressive especially if he is low, but I would be wary as my partner non diabetic also used to be like this, he smoked weed, and tried to come up with every excuse in the book as why he did it x

My sons correction is 1 unit brings down 10mmol, they haven't changed this for a while although the they've changed his slow and fast acting insulin doses, does this sound about right ?? Also he is 8 and been diagnosed for 18months, could he still be in the honeymoon period nobody as mentioned...

Myson was diagnosed just over 2 weeks ago not carb counting yet as apparently caught early but his bg starts normal level maybe abit high in morn (between 6 n 8) to megally high at bedtime lowest 19 highest 25 bit he's on multiple injections x. Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e

My son ad to take his in the morning as his bed time readings were always high so they switched it from bedtime to morning the readings have come down abit but not much, I think he needs the dose putting up tbh x Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e
