No not really I just had been reading about it and because my liver function is elevated probably too much fat and alcohol. No drinking is easy nearly 3 weeks now without , but I got complacent about what I was eating and sluggish gut.
Thank you for your replies. Chris24main I think you are right about sugar driving my eating behaviours. I’ve read that having no gallbladder I should have bile salts or something. Just need to get control of my eating as don’t really want to have T2 meds.

I do hope things have improved for you in the last week. Life is very hard and often an emotional rollercoaster. Try to take one day at a time and if you manage a day of “taking” care of yourself then take the praise and a pat on the back. Good luck x
Stupid woman then.... why do they do this it’s bad enough to be scared by their words that heading towards a stroke or heart attack is an eventuality but telling lies makes my sticky blood boil
My recent visit with the GP nurse ( not diabetic nurse) said I should never have been given a home testing kit. She also said that if type 2’s continually check by getting blood from their fingers it will make the finger tips lose sensation and have neuropathy in them.
is this true?

Do you know if the person taking met for in would know when they can come off it? As I’m on so many meds at present and having to remember them all in order as well as a large family (6 kids not all at home but always on the phone asking +1 hubby) . I think I would then give it a go...
I have just recently had HbA1c which is 50 think it was 49 a year ago . Also told my cholesterol is high serum 6.93 hdl 5.7 ldl 5.06 and also high blood pressure, which was done Friday. Have just been tested positive for COVID today.
The nurse wants me on metaformin which apparently will help...

I am not sure about my thyroid. I take 150mg daily which I’m told is almost the upper limit. I have tried to get my T3 tested as well as Tsh and T4 but alas NO is always the answer. They say I am within normal range . I’ve never been happy about my health care regarding my thyroid.
