    Just been put on gliclazide due to not having my blood tested for over 2 years by my GP and my bloods getting up to 9%. I don't really want to do this. Are there any alternatives you could suggest?

    i have been advised that i need to start taking gliclazide on top of metaformin as my HbA1cc level is now around 9% Any advice on side effects and how to avoid them as well as diet to help me manage my Diabetes better, would be appreciated
