Ask your dsn or hospital doc to write to your surgery usually they don't go against the hospital desisions also if they won't my advice would be to change to a more co-operative GP surgery
I had similar issueswith my new Bayer meter after many arguments with the doctor I changed surgeries and...
I found the same issue so I got a tubular bandage from my local chemist for £3 keeps it in place for the full 2 weeks and I just cut the bandage to size and wash them after a few days it also applies enough pressure to restick the sensor been using it six weeks now no issues
Did you calculate your carbs or basal 100% as with being in a spa the food you've eaten could have more carbohydrates then u were expecting did you have acting insulin when you had a hypo that could have effect the hypo and the later reading??
No I have the pump now plus my hospital wouldn't fund the sensors for the 640g so as it stands at the minute I have the libre for a year so the 670 really makes little diffrence to me at the moment plus the dsn had the pump I was basically waiting for the rep to sign the paper my hospital...
Quick update yesterday I was told the rep has booked the training appointment for the 29 of this month so I have to 8 days and all being well this time I should be going live on the 640g
Thanks for all the help guys
Extremily for every new pump the hospital get the rep in was the same with my omnipod had the rep present
to make it worse the dsn has mentioned that my pump is sat all shiny and unopened ready on her desk all she needs is the rep [emoji36][emoji36]
For me it the depth of the cannula it doesn't go in deep enough and also I hate the Pdm it's can be a pain when the pod is on your back or thigh always saying it can't connect it doesn't show how much insulin it has given unless cancelled and to be honest I've always had my heart set in a...
Here hoping 9 years has been a long time to wait for the a day but If anything I will be speaking to her about whether to order any more omnipods hopefully she will have a rough idea about how long I will be left in insulin pump limbo [emoji31]
Sorry bit of a rant today was supposed to my start date for my 640g but for some reason or other the rep carnt make it some form of leave this has got me down so much today thankfully a job opportunity arrised but I wanted to give some time to get ust to the new pump iron out any issues

@rab5 I had this convosation last week with the smoking cessation nurse I'm a type 1 and this was one of my first questions to the nurse she assured me it will would have no effect on blood sugar what so ever
I was worried just having finally gained full control after 10 years of t1
I've been on one about 4 months and I have also have issues of raising and falling glucose levels but I am very glad to be going on to a minimed 640g I don't think I could have coped with the omnipod for 4 years plus for me personally the cannula doesn't go deep enough into my body
It is a good...
No not spoke to customer service but that will be my next call and ill have a word with my doctor to ask about switching my insulin out for a fresh batch thank you for the responses
