    Thank you for sharing your experience, a very similar journey. I had a tooth out yesterday and I'm in pain. Paracetamol doesn't cut it. I received my test strips and lancets today, so fasting BG tomorrow am. I'll test before my evening meal of roast veggie soup.

    I was last on the forum as 2016! Time has flown by. I managed to put my tentative type2D in remission, and with "keep doing low carb & exercise" ringing in my ears, I skipped off. However life has been lifting in all of that time, single parenting for a child with additional needs, homelessness...

    I put on a pre-diagnosis pair of jeans last week just for a shop run. Did them up and they fell down. Good for the soul, heavy on the purse. I second getting intrim bits from charity shops and supermarket reduccies as this LC>F lifestyle is a lesson in changing body shape.... Forgot to test...

    Not high blood glucose? Sorry not watched the video yet as still collating receipts for accountant, but I thought it was the high BG that was "powdered glass, in blood causing inflammation where ever blood goes" or summut like that....

    @NoCrbs4Me with your theory, which I agree with (in theory!), it would explain why some people might lose a little weight when embarking on a LCHF diet although their meter readings are good for them, if they are still producing epic amounts of insulin in response to foods consumed then the fat...

    Man-o-man woke at 5am after nightmare, heart racing and sweating. Checked da sugar and a 6.1 after going to bed with a 4.8. Liver, I love you but please you don't have be so sensitive....your scaring the bejesus out of me.
