Thank you this is really helpful. My Diabetic nurse is doing a c-peptide test. I’m picking it up tomorrow. It is a 2 hour urine test. Hopefully that will provide some clarity and I can come up with a plan. So many fantastic tips on here though. Thank you everyone for taking the time to help me.

Thank you so much. This is really interesting. I am going to have a call with the Diabetic nurse today, hopefully. I just really want to know what is going on. My fasting BG was 8.8 this morning. I had these numbers in my pregnancy’s.

Thanks so much for your reply. I have brown toast for breakfast. Something light for lunch - hummus and carrots or a small sandwich, again brown bread. And freshly cooked meal each night with basmati rice or pasta. No biscuits, cakes, chocolate etc. No added sugar or sugar in drinks. Very little...

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could help. I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic just over 3 years ago. I have had ok blood sugars until a spike a year ago. I have since been really strict with my intake of any sugars. I still eat some carbs but 3 meals per day, no snacking. I have lost weight...
