No, not from time to time. All the time! Since I was about 15 years old (68 now). I have found no cure. The doctors have no clue. If anyone has a cure please let me know.

I find cooked prawns very helpful. I quite often have a prawn salad for my lunch.

4.9 It took several attempts to get any blood at all. Hands were warm, but no blood. In the end I had to put the lancet setting to 5. Usually 3 will do. Even then it was like drawing blood from a stone. Do any of you struggle to get blood in the mornings. If so what do you do about it.

Its not a big issue, I was just trying to see if a different lancet type might be better. Yup i use different fingers, different sides, some are more sensitive tjan others

Hmm now that is interesting. Different lancing devices may operate differently. Sounds daft but it is very relevant. All they have to do is move foward and backward with a lancet very quickly. But then there is the sideways motion, vibration, impact speed, retraction speed to consider too. I...

And as a follow on can anyone recommend a really good lancet device that takes universal lancets? The one that came with the Tee 2+ kit is good. Just looking ahead in case it breaks.

Yup just the sides. I could be wrong and maybe the new lancet type I tried is no better than any other except they do seem better made. I mean the pain is not severe but I would prefer less if possible (without paying too much) I just thought that the info might be useful to someone.

Oh no, another dumped and given terrible advice by the NHS. Same story here. I understand the stress and upset you are going through. But once you take control and start to understand what you need to do it will all become a lot easier. Advice on these forums is excellent as is the support...
