Thanks MC it's surprising how much of my time it took up...a complaint to the insurers then the emergency vets...exhausting but he's doing so much better.
It's not surprising gennepher in the current climate really...I have some days when I feel more positive then others...the working from home online shopping I rarely go out...vaccination next week if my INR levels are in good range so everything is contingent on so many uncontrollable...
It was a combination of the emergency vets (not our own one) & the insurance company...the emergency vet made a diagnosis during the triage examination said it was a stress condition without any further investigation & the insurers seized on that...I soon kicked that into touch they picked on...
Thanks Krystyna it got worse when the insurance company tired to avoid paying claiming it was a behavioural problem...they soon backed down I had read the insurance schedule was familar with all the terms of the contract they did retract that & pay up to his limit eventually.
Morning I haven't been here for such a long time...lots of issues to deal with that seemed never ending...first my niece got covid & ended up in hospital she has been home for a few weeks & is slowly recovering...second poor Charlie got so terribly ill & there were two questions 1)can he recover...
Hi Krystyna they're both fine although Lola is always demanding to go out...both eating well Lola is eating a little too well the vet says she's too chubby but she will eat hers quickly then head for poor Charlies...I have tried to feed them separately but they won't eat apart...hope all's well...
@gennepher the only way I think you can tackle this is to have a look at this link NHS patients' rights - Citizens Advice...you could also try writing to your local Clinical Commissioning Group which you can look up online...everyone is entitled to have access to a GP for some reason Wales...
Hi MC still about just busy busy busy there doesn't seem to be enough time to get everything done but I'm fine thank you I have to prioritise my time nowadays who would have thought?.
Be careful Daisy often the meters we are given are freebies supplied to your GP by the companies who make their money on the testing strips usually the more expensive ones as @Goonergal says it's better to find out what the most affordable meter & strips are.
I do still have my testing strips...
Morning...Happy Christmas to all just getting ready to head off to friends...I will be sitting in the garden watching the children opening their presents through the garden windows...they have promised a comfy chair & a cup of good hot coffee I have warned them it needs to be really good....then...
