Looking for a pal who understands

Hi I'm 18 and just looking for someone to talk to and unload to about the daily struggles of diabetes. Friends, family and boyfriend try to be as helpful as possible but I don't really say much as don't want to worry them. So yeah it would be great to have someone there who gets it! P.S. I'm...

What were your honeymoon phase experiences?

Sadly my honeymoon period didn't last as long! Mine lasted about a year and I definitely wish I had realised diabetes wouldn't always be as easy as it was during that time! I was originally on a carb to novorapid ratio of 1:20 but it has now been changed to 1:10. My long acting insulin has also...

    Exams

Thanks @himtoo ! I'm pretty sure they do know about it and I've contacted the school to ask about the exam board guidelines when dealing with hypos/hypers. I have tried using a slightly higher ratio, just worried about it going too low which would probably be worse! Thanks for the help!

    Exams

Hi, i'm new to this forum! I'm currently taking my A-Levels and have noticed my blood sugar has been so much higher! It was high during my exam as well and I'm guessing this change is mainly due to stress. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar thing and if they found any...
