    I am mum to Luke aged 9 who was diagnosed with type 1 fourteen months ago. he is using daily multiple injections but has chosen to go on the animas pump. Please can anyone tell me if a continunous blood monitor can be used with the animas pump and can I get the cgm on the NHS.

    How long for diabetes to settle with insulin pump

    Checking BG during the night?

    You could ask your diabetic team for a continuous blood glucose monitor so at least you can see what you blood sugars are doing through the night. They will let you have one temporarily, perhaps for about 3 weeks.
