    Good morning, I have to write on behalf of my 19 year old son. As he has brain damage. He was diagnosed last week with type 1 can anyone recommend how to bring his levels down past 20. I have been in touch with Dr's and all they say is it will take time. Next question ... will being diabetic...

    We have an appointment on Wednesday. My son is 19 but also has TBI so I'm his main carer as he finds it hard to retain information. It's all a bit overwhelming x

    My son was diagnosed yesterday with type 1 his reading was 44 Dr's were shocked. He's on 8 units twice daily and just checked him and he's 32.4 do I need to consult Dr or wait till he has next dose of insulin at 8pm
