I hate diabetes too. I’m really into my fiid but sometimes having diabetes takes the joy of it. Tyr other night I was at an activity with other young people with disabilities. It was snack time but readings were high so I had to sit and watch them eat cake and chrisps.
I suffer from pain due to other conditions and in recent months havr noticed mad spikes in my levels evtn though I’m trying to do akk tyr right things. I’m trying to work out the same thing what leads to what abd if any other of my issues are impacting my levels as well as meds I take.
I wish I knew those things when I was diagnosed. I live with T1 as well as multiple other conditions so every day is an up hill battle and at the minute I seem to be constantly in the red. . I try and eat healthy, stick to my ice and corrections but I’m on steroids for a long term condition so...
My advice is to keep pushing for appointments and more tests if you feel they are needed. I was told I was pre diabetic in 2035. got admitted to hospital late jan 2026 after several blood tests showed low sodium and when my gp tested my sugars they were high so so wrnt to A&e had to wait 2 days...
