I played short Kat bolls in winter and out door in summer before my t1 diagnosis but since I’m a but nervous with the t1 eaoecusii if my bg were to drop. I was just wondering if this is a safe activity fir t1’s
I would like to get back to it but just thought I’d get some advice

Any exercise is good for anyone, as long as you keep an eye on your BG and are able to treat a hypo T1 shouldn’t stop you doing something you enjoy. Can’t recall if you have a CGM?

You must check with your medical team, but I'd be very surprised if they didn't tell you to go for it! Bowls is, as I understand it, very gentle exercise, and exercise of all kinds is so good for us.

I play but outdoor and indoor bowls and just keep a check on my readings. I am allowed to keep my phone on whilst on the green/mat and keep snacks at the end of the rink with my bowls measure/chalk. Never had a problem
