I'm Rachel - and I'm just me. I've gone from years spent destroying my life because of my T1D, to making jagged peace with it. I'm not offering medical advice. I'm just a young woman sharing my experiences of how diabetes lost its power over me. I'm slowly learning to face it, live with it, and deal with it. Going so slow that a mile down the road I'll look back and wonder how I ever got there.
