Ok it's been three months since my last test. In that time my consultant put me (type 1 and on a pump) on a low carb diet.
My new result is 44! :)

In all honesty, nuts in moderation are healthy and if you cut your carbs your body still needs fuel. Healthy natural fats are a good fuel source.

I change mine every test simply because I saw a poster in the waiting room at the hospital on what happens to the needle after it's used once. Makes me flinch thinking about it lol
