Re: VICTOZA Like you Jackie I am on Victoza and yes Weetabix etc send your BG levels high, the best cereal I have used is Lizzi's Granola, it is the best for keeping your BG levels low and sustaining it until lunch. I have been on Victoza for over 6 months now and it's the best thing I have...

    Benecol

Has anyone had good results in lowering their cholesterole? I am no longer taking statins because of having weird effects, I have started taking a small bottle of the yogurt drink each day, if someone has had a good result from taking this drink, how long did it take to work?

    chocolate

Lidl do a good 85% chocolate that comes in small bars, you get 5 bars for 99p so that's good value. I have been known to eat a little more than I should, but a treat now and again is fine. :D

    chocolate

I found that Hotel Chocolat (speciality chocolate shop) has more products than just buying 70% chocolate, they also sell reduced sugar and 85% chocolate bars which in my estimation are the best, they are a little expensive but a little goes a long way.

    chocolate

I commend you for giving up something you so dearly loved, like I gave up smoking and drinking alcohol, I now have a passion for chocolate, a little of what you like won't do you much harm, that's my motto. I haven't seen any animosity on this forum with regards to speaking your mind, I say if...

I have never been a fan of chocolate, then I became a diabetic and suddenly I got very fond of it, they say once something is forbidden you crave it! I asked my DN about treats and she said to buy 70%+ chocolate and have a couple of squares now and again, now I eat it as a treat and have no...

As a person on Victoza myself I have upto 100g of carbs a day, I have to sustain a good BG level and the drug is doing it's work. Last week I got a bad stomach, felt sick etc...so I didn't have enough carbs and my BG levels went up higher than normal. I would dearly love to lose more weight...
