Weight now 17 stone 8lb. I need to watch Im eating enough. I started feeling faint and dizzy on Friday around 11.45. I checked my blood sugar and it was 4.6. I ate lunch early (just after the check) and felt better. It's taught me to check before and 2 hours after meals.
Happy new year. I'm on a 1500 calorie diet and the best way I have found to portion control is to weight cereals ect and measure milk I use on the cereal. I mostly eat oatmeal in a morning with a piece of fruit. I measure out everything I eat and its working. Good luck with your diabetes management
Now 18 stone 2 pounds. Very hard with going to family after finishing work on the 25th. I've ordered some fitbit scales as my weight watchers scales have packed up. (Tried a new battery) The scales will work with the fitbit application I now use. Happy new year to all.
As of today 18 stone and 5 pounds. I'm working over Christmas so will keep away from forbidden treats. Got a fitbit charger 2 to monitor and increase exercise.
1500 calories a day. It hurt my pride when offered a gastric band. It was just the push I needed to start. I was very angry with myself for getting to that point. Sometimes it just needs a dose of reality to kick start the fight back.
