That would be great! I don't know if I'll use it, but it would be nice to have the option.

Well maybe it does haha, I don't know about it though so I'll have to look into it.

    That's good :). And I don't think so, it's just a meter. I don't use a pump.

Well I guess each person might just need a certain amount :) How was your hba1c?

Well I'm glad it's working out for you! And you're right, low carb can be expensive. If you did do low carb, I'm sure you could adjust your long lasting insulin much lower, not that it really matters since it sounds like your doing fine now :)

How do you eat though? Do you eat low carb or do you just dose for whatever carbs you eat?

Well I only say this because too much insulin can cause weight gain, and I figure that if I can take less insulin with still having good numbers, I might as well. But that's just my opinion, I don't know if it's scientifically proven to be healthier to take less insulin.

I'm sure your not eating unhealthy foods or anything, but if you ever feel like trying something new I suggest you try low carb, it's really great :). And I'm taking 9 units of Lantus, what about you?

Well I eat low carb and personally I think that's the best way to do it. The reason I say this is because although you can eat higher carb and cover it with more insulin, I think it's healthiest to inject as little insulin as possible. I really suggest that you try eating low carb, at first it's...

That's cool, I use the freestyle insulinx too! As far as keeping my hba1c good, It all comes down to eating super low carb and checking my blood sugar often (and exercise of course). I have no carbs at breakfast (well no carbs isn't really possible, but you get the idea) and for lunch I only eat...
