Just to confirm that mods are happy for you to continue to post without FBG for a couple of days while your fingers recover. Hope they are less sore soon.
I don’t think any of us can say if you are eating too few calories unless you can give us an idea how many you eat! Are you counting the carbs you eat? If you have gone to keto levels of carbs very quickly it could be keto flu.

I would talk to your nurse again and tell her the side effects are too much. Maybe you could ask about trying a lower dose, or an alternative medication.
I couldn’t tolerate Metformin, and eventually had to stop taking it.
