    Diabetes and teenage depression

Hi, I just wanted to say welcome to the forum. I saw your other post about how you found us, what a great teacher to give you some info that may help. We don’t have very members your age, but we do have lots who were diagnosed type 1 when they were very young, and also members who use pumps as...

Hi I’m julieclarke I’ve joined to find out more about T2 diabetes

Me too. I’m swimming at 9 tomorrow morning, then going for brunch. Some places round here are great at swapping high carb food out for lower carb. I often swap toast for an extra egg or mushrooms.

Can I use a continuous monitor for 2 weeks to test my diet

I use an iPhone and can record carbs and insulin using an app called Zukka. But for a more detailed analysis I would also use a spreadsheet. In my personal experience not all carbs have the same result so it’s good to know which ones caused what result.

    Minimed app and phone vompatability

As this happened just after you updated the android system it may be that it’s the system upgrade that isn’t compatible rather than your device. If you post the version of android you upgraded to other members may have relevant experience(I’m an iPhone user so can’t help with that). If you...

    Libre 2

When your libre records these levels have you checked with a blood sugar meter? My libre is usually half to one point below the reading with my meter. If the readings are accurate then yes, I would have a chat to your nurse and see if the insulin needs reducing. Also of course remember not...

    Back on Ozempic

Hi, Just to say forum rules prevent us giving dosing advice. I agree with @Rachox , I’d ask the pharmacist.

    Low glucose or not?

Your meter will be the most accurate assuming your test strips are in date. I would check it again in a couple of hours and then contact abbot and ask for a replacement sensor if it’s still out.
