Libre 2 Plus on 14 day trial

If it’s the libre 2+ it lasts 15 days rather than 14. It will tell you it’s going to end, and then stop. They can take a little while to bed in, but even then for me they read around 0.5 to 1 lower than blood testing at low levels, and the same amount higher at high at levels. But it’s still a...

    Libra two +sensor

999 is for emergencies, 111 is for other urgent needs and if you are on insulin. (Which I think you are) then needing a method of monitoring your blood sugar is a need.

    Libre 2 sensor

I had a sensor die on me when I’d been working in the garden with the sun on it for 2 hours on a hot summer day. It showed a very low reading first, then after about 10 mins it stopped working altogether.

    What’s going on?

I’m very new to fast acting insulin (4 weeks in) but I am finding what works for me with a higher carb meal is to take around 2/3 of what I think I’ll need. Then watch what happens and if blood sugar rises more Than I expect within a couple of hours I take the remaining third. Might not work...

    Help please

Well a chippy tea or pizza won’t be helping. Both very high in carbs. Could you maybe reduce that to once a month rather than once a week? Or you can buy low carb pizza bases online to put your own toppings on. What type of nuts do you eat? Some are fine (like walnuts and almonds), peanuts are...

Fbg 5.5 I just wanted to second what @lovinglife has said. I’ve been there as well. At the time I insisted I was fine and coping. With hindsight now I wasn’t. Please get the support you need and post here whenever you need to.

I use fruit pastels to treat my blood sugar when it’s too low. Eating three of them raises my blood sugar very quickly.

What did you pop in your basket this week? Low chat level

I forgot that on a regular basis I also buy fish dierectly from a local fishing boat that unloads and sells directly on the harbour. Obviously depends what their catch is but I have bought langoustines, brill, Dover sole, plaice, skate, scallops. I can’t bring myself to buy the live crab or...
