Thanks everyone for your replies, as some of you have said I keep glucogel for more serious hypos (luckily my son hasn't experienced one as yet!) he uses coke and sweets as his hypo treatment usually. He doesn't like glucotabs but as you say if he's that bad he might not realise! Thanks againx
