Hi, I am type 2 on isulan for the last 20 years and for 15 years I have a vitamin B deficiency and receive a vitamin B12 injection every 4 weeks I have always been told that it was connected to my diabetes but I agree that other ailments may cause this deficiency like under active thyroid zproblems

This has only happened me once at a hospital clinic I know a very are reliable diabetic nurse and made an appointment to see her she gave me a some advice and suggested that in future I ask to see another doctor this was very easy and I have had no trouble since Type 2 on insulin and 6 x 500mg daily

I was 46 years old diagosed as T2 4years later was put on isulan I am now 70yrs old

Re: How often should I see my Diabetes team? I see by hospital team every 6months and I also see by GP practice every six months Imfind thisn very helpful as my blood sugars are not always under control and these visist put me back on tract I am T2 on insulan and metaformin :)

should have added that I am Type 2

I was aged 45 years was on diet and medication for 5-6years then put on insulan Novo-disk plus medication
