:D i have been on my pump now for about 10 weeks. i have just had my hba1c results its is 69!! yayyyy . i know this is still high but they are down from 108!! so these results are fantastic for me .

i didnt touch any lucozade with my hands my partner treated me. i have spoken to my dsn and we have reduced all my basal rates for now and see what happens from now until thursday when i see her. ( hopefully this will sort things) i wasreally scared to go to bed last night !!!

i have had problems over night . spoke to my dsn this morning she has told me that the cannulas are not right for me and using the inserter wont make any difference. im now off my pump and using pens til thursday. im not gonna give up on the pump because i want it to work for me x

i think im gonna go for the rapid d ones . i just hope im ok til then or i will have to use injections . i have done a full change today and touch wood everything is ok .

im using the flexilink cannulas but im not using the inserter . i have spoken to my dsn and we are gonna look at other cannulas when i go to see her on thursday .

well after a 3 good days on my pump i hit problems !!! ended up doing 3 cannula changes then i thought things were ok. saturday morning i ended up in a&e with dka !!! ketones of 6.8 and bg 30.9 i was vomiting . im home and well now back on my pump and hoping all is gonna be ok :D
